Network Security Engineer

Job Description

1. The successful candidate will have the ability to perform and deliver the following functions independently and with ownership
2. Design, deploy, and support enterprise-class firewall solutions with IPS, Threat Prevention, VPN, Sandblast technologies
3. Design, deploy and support virtual systems and Multi/Virtual Domain setup
4. Complex troubleshooting to include network protocol and log analysis, raw data captures, and the correlation of disparate events spanning multiple devices and platforms.
5. The successful candidate will also possess a strong working knowledge of:
6. Network security controls such as IPS, DLP, Threat-Prevention and Web-Filtering, Proxy
7. Enterprise network architecture, design, and support to include network hardware, network protocols, and data flows
8. Additionally, the candidate must have the ability to:
9. Manage multiple tasks simultaneously with limited management oversight.
10. Prioritize and re-prioritize tasks in a rapidly changing environment
11. Continuously enhance skills through both structured training and independent research.
12. The candidate should possess good communication and documentation skills
